ODBII Code P0340

Got code P0340, but book says my engine does not use camshaft position sensor. Also battery light is on. Battery measures 12.4 volts car off and 11.5 car running.

Sounds like the alternator is not charging. Here is s repair guide to get you started. I would worry about the charging issue first then go from there.

New alternator, tension pulley and belt installed today. Everything is great so far even seems to have gotten rid of the random misfire I've had for the past month or so. Thanks for your help with the testing. You guys are great.
