But my problem is the ECT is preventing the fan to operate. I know there is a bypass to test this but I haven't been able to find it, or anyone who knows this proseguir. While diagnosing the problem, I found that the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor connector is damaged. And I can't find a parts store near me that carries one. Any thoughts on this?

Hello,

You have got to be kidding me. These ECT's should be a dime a dozen. A good place to go is to look on either Ebay or Amazon. You can usually find good quality parts on there for roughly about half of what you pay at an auto parts store or the dealership. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out. By the way your vehicle uses two ECT's one for the Power-train Control Module (PCM) and one for the temperature gauge. Make sure you are getting the right one.

Thanks,
Alex
