When the vehicle is idling, it seems as if it is going to stall out. It has not yet, but has come close. I have checked the gas cap to ensure it is tight and is not defective. I am curious to what it could be? Help! Thanks!

code 442 is a small leak in evaporator system one of our tips from other mechanics is to check pipe where fuel cap seals as they are plastic and develop small cracks letting air into system and leaking. other wise it will need to be smoke tested by a mechanic to see where leak is.
