hi, i have tried a lot of models of OBD's on my car and on trying to find a code i press load and it comes up every time saying linking error. i can't seem to find out why all the other OBD scanners work on my mates and lasses car. so do not think it's the actual scanner problem.

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try to help. As far as connecting, when you hook up the scan tool, does it turn on? Now, in the US, pin 16 always has 12v power. I would imagine it is a standard anywhere. Can you check to see if that is the case for you? Also, pin 4 should be the chassis ground. Check that for continuity to ground.

Let me know what you find.
