Transmission not shifting after O2 sensor replacement

I was having intermittent problems with the check engine light coming on. I grabbed a code reader and it said the o2 sensor was failing. I replaced the sensor, and now I can't get out of first gear! I can start it and drive just fine, but very slowly. The van will not get into 2nd and almost feels like I'm trying to drive while in neutral if that makes any sense.

Hi,

This is an interesting one. The sensor has nothing to do with the transmission. Have you rechecked around where you were working to see if anything was left disconnected?

When you replaced the sensor, chances are you were working around the transmission. Check for disconnected connectors. Also, let me know if the speedometer is working.

One last thing. Here is a link that explains how to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes on this vehicle. You don't need a scan tool. Follow the link and let's see if anything stored.
