Not going into first and second gear

I just changed the clutch bought a clutch kit but the is still not going into first and second gear it is an issue what is the problem and how do I solve it and fix it please help

If i's acar check for a bad cable or shifter or internal trans problem.

Yes it is a car tata indica 1.6 but the problem comes and goes you say its internal transmission issues

Check all your adjustments like cables worn out or broken, or shift rods bent out of adjustment because we have no info on this car this is about all I can tell you
