Vehicle was parked for months. No problems prior. Installed new battery. Started immediately w/no issues. Drove approximately two miles no issues. Pulled into a parking place and now it will not move (transmission seems to be engaging). No throttle response in any gear, normal if in neutral or park.

Hi John,

Just so I am on the same page, when you put it in gear and step on the accelerator, the RPMs rise as if in Park or Neutral?

If so, this is a transmission issue. Just to confirm, you have a CVT transmission?

If so, we need to check line pressure and the condition of the fluid. I included the procedure on how to check the fluid.

Just so you are aware, if we find this is something internal to the CVT then the most likely fix will be a unit replacement. There are some shops that will go into them and rebuild them but the price works out to just replace the unit all together.

Let me know what you find with the fluid and confirm this is a CVT for me and we can go from there.
