Looking for help on a transmission diagnosis. Throwing code p0750 shift solenoid a malfunction.
Do you have a repair manual or diagram of the solenoid positions inside the transmission? I need to know which one to replace. Thanks

Good evening

Below is a diagram of the valve body for you to view.

Do you have a scan tool that can activate the solenoids?

I have a code reader, but no tool as you describe. The code says P0750 shift solenoid a malfunction. Which one is A? I have no second gear, and no reverse.

Okay, you need the scan tool to work the solenoid to see if it functions.

It could also be a stuck valve in the valve body. Have you had the transmission fluid and filter changed?

Shift solenoid S1.

A scan tool that will rad this info runs about $2,000.00. It is cheaper to have a shop check it for you for around $100.00.

I can try. Sometimes the numbers we get are not the newest numbers. It is best to call the dealer for the exact part number. Then you can search for pricing.
