No power when trying to start

I had a mechanic try and help me put my trucks ignition switch back to the way it was before because it was one click off.
After he began working he broke my ignition switch so now he hot wired my truck and got me home and disappeared on me. Bad thing I m broke and I have no hope or credit card to help me.
I got another ignition switch with key to it but now I put it in and it will not even light up the power to the instrumental panel or anything. However, the windows go up and down. Weird that is the only thing that works. Please help me!

It sounds like the ignitions switch is still having a problem. Lets test the outputs to make sure the switch is getting power as well as outputting it. Here is guide and the ignition switch wiring diagrams:
