I was having heating issues in my van. I replaced the heater core and now the van has absolutely no power. I am talking no dash lights. No interior lights, engine doesn't even try to start. The only thing i have noticed is that the flashers flash super fast.
When installing the new core i unhooked the bottom of the doghouse, the brake pedal, the steering column, and i took off the plastic cover under the steering wheel where you could see the air bag. I did not see anything that was unhooked.
Does anyone have any ideas on what caused this?

Hi,

Does anything work? For example, do the headlamps or brake lights turn on, or is it only things that require the ignition switch to be turned on?

Also, on the left side of the dash is the body control module. Are you sure it is properly connected? There are three connectors. See pics below.

Let me know about the flashers also. Are you referring to the turn signals or the hazard and does anything else work?

Take care,

Joe

I have no done lights no head or break lights you cannot even give it a jump start
Yes, it is the turn signals. They were both flashing super-fast like the hazards were on.

Hi,

Wow... Let's start at the beginning. Take a look at the pic below. It shows where battery power enters the fuse box under-hood. Check a few of the fuses shown in the pic and see if there is power to them.

Let me know.

Hi.

If there is no power at fuse 1, we lost battery power. Can you check the positive battery cable for damage? Also, make sure the ground cable from the battery is good as well. If you have nothing at the main box, one of the cables is bad or the battery has drained.

Let me know.
