No power, takes a while to get up to speed

Car runs great engine revved up in neutral. In drive won’t rev up car barley moves . Throttle only goes up to 1,000 rpm's it takes a while to get up to speed.

There are a number of things this could be. Here is a video that runs through the basic causes of this:

Basically you have what is called low power. This is typically caused when the there is a load on the engine like you are seeing.
