No phone calls from speakers?

Everything works except audio from phone calls out of the speakers. Mic works. Text to speech works etc. Tried resets, Ford sync reset, even called ford and went through their whole protocols on the phone. Could it be the audio receiver?

Okay lets rule out the simple things.

Make sure the phone’s Bluetooth profile for “Call Audio” is enabled (sometimes “Media Audio” will work but “Call Audio” is toggled off).

In the phone’s Bluetooth settings - tap the connected Fusion Sync device - verify both Calls and Audio are enabled.

Try with a second phone if you haven’t already. If another phone has the same issue, it’s in the car.

You mentioned you did this, but confirm you also rebooted the car’s fuse for SYNC. Pull fuse #67 (in the passenger compartment fuse box) for 2 minutes, then reinstall. This hard-resets APIM. Let me know.

What did they say was wrong? We should do a CAN scan to see which codes are stored and it should tell us which part of the system is having an issue.
