The car won't start - will crank but not start - apparently it's not getting spark. My question - I was told that the coil is not sold separately - is that true - do I need to purchase an entire distributor assembly - what if it's the rotor?
I had ordered the assembly through the internet and paid for Saturday shipping - well today is Saturday and it is not here! I am furious - I have been without a car for a week now and can't work. ARGH!

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation,
if the rotor was so badly burn that it was the cause it would almost need to be melted away, I think that the unit distributor is the fault, and as for the frustrating devilry, we all have to deal with this at some time or another, there is not much that one can do about such delays.

Just a second thought,
did you first check for power at the 2 pin distributor connector Black/white 1.6 liter or black/red 2 liter, unplug and check for power with ignition on.
