I replaced the timing chain and put back together out of time. The car ran but was noisy after warm up. I fixed the timing and now have no spark. I have tried a different distributor and a new crank angle sensor. My code reader gives a code for cam position sensor a circuit. Bank 1 or single sensor the code is p0340. I also repaired the wire on the knock sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Replace the cam angle sensor if you have not already done so as this is the primary signal for ignition sequence, it is not advised to repair broken sensor wires as any poor solder or bad connection will alter the sensors readings due to the resistance in the bad joint, if you must repair solder the joint.

The cam sensor is in the distributor. I replaced the distributor and still have no spark.
