On this year Sentra is the coil module / pack made as part of the distributor or can the coil be changed seperate from the distributor?

91 - 94 model year, you have an external coil unit located at on either the firewall on it is attached to the engine block close to the distributor cap. The easiest way to locate your coil is to locate the center wire on the distributor cap and follow it. You will see the coil at the end of the wire.
