2002 Nissan Pathfinder burning full syntethic oil

My oil lamp came on intermittantly, I added 3 quarts of oil to bring up the oil level, I had the oil changed, within 2000 miles the light came on, it was recommended that I change to full synthetic, so I had that done. Same problem 2200 miles the oil lamp came on. I am down 2 Quarts of oil. There is no visible leak of any oil. Where is all this oil going.

The full synth oil is not suitable for this engine with the miles you have on it, I would be using a 20W-50 mineral based oil, this should helping the oil consumption a lot.
