2008 Nissan Maxima My starter

My Starter is acting funny. Some days I will turn it to start and it will start some days it will just click and not start and it ranges from a min of turning on and off to 10mins. I was wondering were the problem could be located

If you have ruled out your charging system (alternator, battery and all calbes/connections) then it may be a faulty starter solenoid or the starter motor itself may be going out. I suggest having the starter removed and tested. If the starter and connections test OK then the ignition switch will be the next thing to inspect.
