Hi there, I am having a problem with my 03' Nissan Maxima. My MIL light is on, or "service engine soon". I recently had the code read, and it is P0300, which they say is multiple cylinder misfire" all the coilpacks were replaced I was told, and even saw recent receipt for that, along with new platinum spark plugs, and maf sensor. I really love the car, and it runs beautifully, with no symptoms of any rought idle, stalling etc. I want to take it to a mechanic of my own, but would appreciate any knowledge you may have about what area I may be looking into any possible "replacement" or what it may or may not be. I am really glad I found this site, it has wonderful information. I anticipate your feedback, thank you very much,
Sincerely, Kristine

Kristine, first things first. Make sure all of your fluids are at correct level. Then take it to autozone for a free scan. Another thing. Make sure your gas cap is on tight. You know let it click several times. Get back to me with your findings. If you don't have an autozone near you then take it to another parts place. They all usually offer free scans. A shop will charge you 100.00 or more just to do this.
