1999 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 180+ miles

'99 nissan maxima, 180+ miles. My wipers don't work at all. The motor runs fine and after doing a little investigating I saw that the arm-bar from the motor is disconnected from the joint-bar of the the wipers. It looks like a "ball-n-socket". I don't know the mechanical name nor do I know where to search for replacement parts. Forecast calls for rain. Help.
