1999 Nissan Maxima replace starter

Hi I have a 1999 nissan maxima se limited and need to change the starter. I checked the battery and it has a charge. When I crank it all I get is a click click click and it doesnt start. I can see the starter but how do I get it out from above or underneath the car. Thank you
