1998 Nissan Maxima Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has codes that point to the oxygen sensor and knock sensor that might need replacement BUT also my muffler needs to be replaced because it has a tear in it and makes noise, I was wondering could the problem be my muffler and not those codes I got back?

The exhaust leak could indeed cause these codes. I suggest replacing the exhaust pipe first, then reset the codes. If they come back, test the sensors before replacing them.
