1998 Maxima hesitation problem

My 1998 Nissan Maxima has 95000 miles and a 3.0 liter (6 cylinder) engine. It is manual transmission. After I shift and let go of the clutch and I accelerate, the car hesitates. The air coming out of the exhaust pipe also seems to choke every few seconds and there is also a slight burning smell sometimes. I have replaced the clutch, shocks, and fuel filter. I have also done all the necessary fluid maintainence. The knock sensor has also been replaced. Nobody seems to know what is causing this problem and the car has passed inspection. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Check the fuel pressure at idle and part throttle with and without the pressure regulator.

Check these sensors-Throttle Position/Intake Air Temperature/Mass AirFlow.

Also might want to check out the exhaust system for restriction.

Are these serious problems that need to be looked at right away? It depends on you those are just probable causes to look at.

My style if it starts up and runs with a lot of gas available I'll drive it till it breaks then fix it That's my mechanic style to lazy to do mine but very fast on customers' car.
