1995 Nissan Maxima Trunk Wont Open

My trunk is locked/broken and wont open. I used to be able to pound on the trunk and turn the key at the same time and it would open but that doesnt work anymore. The trunk release from inside the car doesnt work as well? Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

Hi there,

You will have to access the boot through the rear seat and trip the lock, it may just need an adjustment as pushing the lid while unlocking is a sign of an adjustment issue,
