Got a diagnosis when speedometer started internittantly registering speed and NOT registering speed. Speed sensor was designated as culprit for speedometer malfunction. Now speedometer is Not registering at all; prior to now when speedometer would register, check engine light would go off; then come ON again when speedometer would stop registering. Question: How to replace sensor for speedometer? Where is sensor located? Special Tools Required?

Ok the speed sensor is on the speedometer assembly. So what you will have to is remove the instrument cluster and remove it from the back and put the new on in it is napa part number VSS613 and here is a pic of it.
