I HAD A AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR FACILITY INSTALL NEW FRONT STRUTS. I NOTICED 6 MONTHS LATER (NOW) THE STRUT BOOTS ARE TORN AND THE CAR IS MAKING A ABNORMAL NOISE (KNOCK, OR JAMMING) WHEN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE ROLLS OVER ANY ROUGH OR REMOTELY ROUGH ROAD. IS THIS A STRUT PROBLEM OR SOME CONTROL ARM ?

if the boots are torn or missing chances are contaminants are in the struts and they need fixing. espeically since the boots are torn so soon leads me to wonder what kind of parts they gave you.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY. I BOUGHT MONROE STRUTS AT THE AUTO PARTS STORE. SHOP INSTALLED THEM. I HAVE ORDERED NEW STRUTS AND I WILL INSTALL THIS TIME. HOPING IMPROPER INSTALLATION IS THE PROBLEM.
