2002 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive

my 2002 altima just lost most if not all of its engines
power I just made it home at a idell speed when giving the engine gas it just sputters and almost stalls
there is no hp power and feels like its just loading up with copmpression did not have any problems going to work but when I was returning home is when it started it could barely make it up any type of incline on the road, there is no hp at all.

Several things can cause this. First, has the check engine light come on? Second, if not, I recommend checking two things. First make sure the catylatic converter isn't plugging up. That can cause a serious loss in power. Second, check the fuel pump pressure. IF it isn't producing, the car won't go.
