I tried to start my car this afternoon, but it would not start. It was making a sound as if there was no electrical ignition to the car.

So, I decided to jump start it. After waiting for 15 minutes, the car started and I drove it to the gas station to buy more gas. Upon buying more gas, my car would not ignite again. So I tried jump starting it again, but this time, it would not even start, not show any light. I put some sprite on the battery but it would not help.
I replaced the distributor and the gas pump about a month ago, so I know they are in good condition.

I thinking it is the battery, but I'm not sure. Can it be the starter too? I would greatly appreciate your help.

All these happened in an 80 degree weather.

Get the battery load tested and make sure terminals/cables are cleaned and properly tightened
