I am having problems with the safety switch that the clutch engages to allow the vehicle to crank. I have to push in the clutch several times and sometimes even then it does not want to crank. I know I need a clutch pretty soon but I have not had any problems with the clutch. Someone told me about the safety switch and how to change it or bypass the wires. I came here to see how to do it.

Good afternoon. The switch is under the dash attached to the clutch pedal. It has two wires that attaches to it. You can remove the connector and use a paper clip to bypass it. I would only use that as a test. If it works, just get a new switch and replace it.
