Jumped a curb and now car will not Move

Jumped a curb and now car won't move, even when put in drive or reverse. What may be the problem and cost involved? Trying to decide whether to pay $1,400.00 to tow yard where it's been for six weeks. Thanks!

Can you get to the car to take a look at it?

It could be either a broken axle or the transmission has failed.

Hard to say without some information.
