Need help, my car's passenger side window won't respond to the passenger side button. It will work when using the driver side button. And I can't find a window lock button. Am I blind? Don't know if this is useful but the passenger door does respond to automatic locks on it's door but not the window up or down button.

Hello,

The problem here is probably a bad switch on the passenger door. What happens is that window switches depend on internal metal contacts to close and make metal to metal contact closing the circuit and providing electricity the the motor when the switch is pressed. Over time and through normal wear and tear these contacts wear out and the switch fails.
In the diagrams down below I have included wiring diagrams and a Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part number for the window switch. I have also included a link for you to go to down below:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. Personally, I'd put money on a bad switch in the passenger door. I'm attaching images pulled from AllData detailing how to go about testing the switch using a test light.

As for the window lock switch, AllData doesn't show one being there. But that doesn't mean much because AllData doesn't always detail whether such little things are there or not. Usually if Ford has one, its integrated with the master (drivers) window switch.

If you don't have a test light, a multi-meter or volt meter will work as well. Or you can get a test light or multi-meter at the local auto parts store, Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, and so on.

Check into that and let us know what you find.
