My 2WD won't engage

I recently bought this car last week and it was driving fine until we decided to try the 4wheel drive this week. After that it will nit engage the 2wd anymore. It still reverses and drives etc but feels heavy like its breaking. Any idea what it could be? Thanks

Yes, the actuator is stuck in 4wd, this is a common problem because most people do not use 4wd, try remodeling the actuator and check it for obvious damage.
