These vehicles have a lot of problems with crankshaft position sensors which can cause no spark and common to cause this condition...Buy a can of starting fluid then next time it shuts off and wont restart right away see if it will fire off starting fluid..If not this verifies you have no spark so then replace the crankshaft position sensor. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.
also a common problem to cause stalling at stops but allowing it to restart right away every time is a dirty throttle body. You can get some throttle body cleaner from your local parts store and use that with a rag to wipe out throttle body good..They get dirty causing poor airflow which causes the problems at idle since there isnt as much flow as when going down road...This is such a simle problem its often overlooked by shops. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

Just to add to this one they said they already replaced the crankshaft position sensor if it restarts right away right after it stalls and runs good after that it doesnt sound like a crankshaft position sensor. Shopgirl63 ypu said you replaced the gas pedal assembly? Are you setting any codes? If so what are the exact code numbers not code descriptions?
