I am having issues lining up the motor mount on this car. I recently did the timing belt and I really have not touched it for a little while due to title agreements. Now that all that is solved I went to go put everything back on and everything went smooth until the motor mount. The motor seems to be shifted to the right by just enough to not allow the bolt to go through it. Now I have had this issue before on a Ranger but the motor mounts on the ranger were pretty shot and the issue was they broke the rubber and slid but with this one I am a little stumped. I assume due to sitting for so long the jack the motors sitting on shifted since even though the jacks sitting on a block it has rained quite a bit. Thank you hurricane.

The best thing to do is loosen the engine mount brackets and other engine mounts until you can get the bolt instareted. Please send me a picture of the problem if this does not not work. Cheers, Ken

I finally got time to work on it again and I ended up bolting down the bracket to bracket to the passenger motor mount, then loosened up the other motor mount brackets, lowered the motor a tad, and had a friend with a crowbar between the frame and passenger mount to move the motor and got it lined up perfectly. Thank you for your help you guys are awesome! It is all out back together and now all it needs is a coil pack (the coil packs fine but the boot is cracked no way to replace the boot without buying the whole coil) and a battery. And shes road ready!
