Mold on outer body

My sister-in-law took her car to the dealer about a spot on the body and really bad around the filler tube. Have you ever heard about anything like this or is the dealer giving a woman driver a bunch of B.S?
And if its true, is there any danger for her and what could she do? She lives in Florida.

So what is the question? Sounds like you saw the problem and took it in to have looked at?Are you asking about what they told you? Because you really did not say what they found?

They said it was mold, I have never heard of anything like that.

I have seen mold grow inside a car so I do not see why it could not grow outside the car if does on buildings.
