Can a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT tow anything? U-Haul makes a hitch for it. Dealers can't tell me much except they "don't recommend it", except one dealer who said they saw a guy tow with an eclipse cross-county.

Call U-haul, and they can give you the receommended spec on what you can tow.

Personally, I would keep it to a jet-ski.

Your owners manual shoul have the gross weight that can be safelly towed along with the tonge weight.

I have a 1992 eagle talon tsi awd. Its the same exact thing as a eclipse and I live in northern wisconsin and up here that all wheel drive is nice on the snowy icy slippery roads when you have two snowmobiles hooked up to your reese hitch on my car. So yeah I would say it is possible cuz I do it!
