I just bought a 5spd 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse with about 81,000 miles on it. When does the timing belt need to be replaced? Thank you! :Wink:

Hi there,

The timing belt should have been change at 60,000 Mls and is due again at 1000,000 Mls. If in doubt about it being changed, replace it. It is far better to be safe than sorry.
