Oil plug on 03 Montero

On a 03 Montero Sport I was told to be careful changing the oil because the transmission plug could be confused as the oil plug. Is this true? :?

if you are looking for motor oil drain plug you need to remove lower gravel pan under front end. the tranny drain plug is near the middle of car (under car of course).
