Ok I have a mitsubishi 1997 eclipse 2.4 auto

last year I crossed the battery <---dumb azz. My main altenator fuze burned so I replaced it. The car ran real rough like almost no gas was goin to the engine. Real real bad. So I took it the mechanic they said it was the mass flow sensor so I replaced it. Didnt fix it. So I replaced it again. Notting. Then they told me it must be the ecu. Replaced it and nottting. The only way I can run the car normal is if I unpluged the mass flow. Then I took it to an "expert" electro mechanic he said it was the fuel pump with low presure. And teh code was p0170

now if the car runs normal without the mass flow sensor. Dont that means that the pump is fine?

another thing I noticed is when the car is cold and the mass flow is pluged it runs fine but when it gets hot it starts again.

when is unpluged it run rough when it cold and when it gets hot runs normal. What the hell!

im frustraded with this car. Can anybody help me before I fix the car with my baseball bat.

Jr. Don't brutalize the car with the baseball bat-burn it! Just joking-okay you need to have the wiring check from and to the MAF. You already know something is up with the MAF-to get it to run normal.

Check other sensors that are wired parallel to it.
