Dear Ken or Bob,
I have a 92 Mitsubishi 3000gt V6 Non-turbo. Recently when my car is much louder than when I bought it. I think there is an air leak with the mesh piece that connects from the header to the Cataletic Converter. The mesh flex piece is coming off from bottoming out. And now when I drive, I can feel the loss of power in my car. What would you reccomend would be the best way to fix it and make my car silent again. Any help would be much appreciated. [/B]

You actually mean the flex section on your downpipe? Correct. They actually sell replacement downpipe for 3000 GTs, but not stock, aftermarket wich gives you like an extra 5 horsepower over stocl, they are even bolt on, so you can get your tools and do it your self in your garage on a weekend. It took me 10 minutes to swap mines.I had the same issue.
