Engine Oil Lamp Light

I have Mitsubishi Galant 2002. I had my oil changed about a couple of months ago and I know I have not driven at least 3,000 miles yet. The engine oil lamp light would come on when im parked but when I start to accelerate the light goes off.

Your problem is normally associated with low oil pressure due to a worn oil pump, or it is unlikely but could be due to wrong oil or engine running excessively hot of low oil level causing engine wear
