Hi, I have a 1996 3.0 V6 Mitsubishi Montero. Mileage:141240. The computer says that I have the P1400 problem. I have a friend that have a computer reader and it said that the Montero have problems in the manifold differential pressure sensor circuit. What is that? And what I can do to fix that? Thank You!

You need a scanl tool read the pressure

Dunno what liter engine
12 valve 3.4-5.3 psi
24 " 3.6-5.6 psi

If not in range-replace MDP sensor

If the wires checks out for a short or open circuit with good ground to it do below:

Turn key to On and measure the voltage at connector terminal no.3 if its not 4.8-5.2volts replace the computer. If it is replace MDP sensor.
