My transfer system light started blinking, stopped after a few miles and the lock light came on. I took my car to a Mitsuibishi dealership and was told they replaced the celluniod which took care of the lock light problem, but the transfer system light is flashing again and the techs on duty do not have a clue and said they will have to let someone more experience take a look at it on Monday. So far, my bill is at $300. Anyone had this problem or have a solution.

You could try having it scanned for codes at Autozone (free) to see if there are any codes pertaining to the drivetrain. My software doesnt have any way to go into diagnostic for the t-case without a scan tool. You can try the trans diagnostic-Key off- Find diagnostic connector under dash and ground terminal 1, look closely for the numbers on the connector, they are very small. After grounded turn key to on position and observe the number of flashes of teh "N" on the dash.1st set of flashes is first # short pause then the second set of flashes for the second #. Get back with results
