Hi,
Thanks in advance for answering my question.
Parked car to get groceries. As usual, used the remote to lock the car. No such luck. No horn beep, nothing. Had to use the old fahion lock car with key.
Figured remote needed battery.
After groceies loaded, key into ignition. No dash lights, no crank, no nothing! Several attempts to turn key without success. Fianlly last attempt and the car fired up. With air conditioning running, and stopped at a signal light, noticed the fan speed would vary witout adjusting the control. Kept blowing cold but at reduced rate. No consistency of fan speed.
Finally home, groceries out, the remote worked fine, the horn beep and the doors locked.
Serious? Fluke? Voltage regulator?
Battery cables and terminals tight and clean. No battery bulge. Battery 2 yrs old. Live in AZ and know battery life very short.
Regards,
Art

Hi Art,

Thank you for the donation.

Seems the problem is due to a power supply interruption and I would suggest disconnecting the battery terminals to recheck. Next on list would be the main fuses. Check for look or heated connections.

If the problem happened once, it is going to happen again.
