Electrical problem
1990 Mitsubishi Montero Four Wheel Drive Automatic 215633 miles

Hey,
My 1990 Mitsubishi Montero Sport finally quit on me a little bit ago while I was driving it. I couldn't get it to start, then my dad went to pick it up and it started just fine and he drove it home. After that, it hasn't been able to leave my driveway. We've replaced everything electrical on the engine except for a couple of resistors, as well as gas lines and fuel pump. We've determined that it is in fact getting fuel, there is no problem with the starter, the battery has charge, spark plugs are brand new as well as the distributor. We tried to start it last night after all this work was done, and there was no luck. We used some starter spray to see if we could get it to, but nothing. After all this we determined that despite the brand new electrical throughout, there is no spark, any suggestions?

Done it, no spark. We used a meter and for some reason it's dropped from the necessary 12.5 volts to 9. Tried everything in the trouble shooting guide. Any other suggestions?

Put a test light on the neg. Side of coil crank does light flicker? If so coil is suspect.
If not computer maybe the problem. Does your reference tell you how to pull codes from comp? If it does do that.
