I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cylander, which is stopping whenever the rpms get below 1000. It starts fine after stalling, and it stays on while the rpms are above 1000. It has a check engine message that says "exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected." What is a good price for a replacement, and would it work to jus clean this out?

just take the EGR out and cleaning it with brake cleaner or degreaser a lil, its just carbon build up. I had that same problem on my 4cyl. Easy fix. And its one of the most expensive parts to replace on the galant. Make sure to replace the gasket first before re-installing
