Hi:
I know you are not my Dad or a close friend who will repond to this. But I still could use some honest advice and an expert outside opinion. I normally keep my cars a long time if I can, between 200-300k miles if possible. But that has been with Hondas and Acuras. This is the first Mitsibishi I have ever owned. After only 135k my trusted mechanic said my Radiator is cracked, and my Idle Air Control Motor is possibly bad.
He called a Mits Dealer and the mecahnic said to clean the "intakes" as well. All this will come to about $800. Nothing major ever happened to my Honda products until at least around 180k miles or higher. I don't know what to do. I am tempted to buy another used Acura for around $7000 which I don't have in the bank and would borrow. Do you feel in your "opinion" that Mitsibishi's can handle over 200k miles or more? Or is this a big gamble for this product for the long haul?
Sincerely,
Roger
