I replaced both the balance shaft and timing belt... i ran it for about 10 minutes to let the computer adjust the timing... i shut it off, cleaned up for the test drive, now it will only crank and immediately die. I double checked the timing marks and its still in time, i just dont know what i missed.. i am getting a P0300 code.
Update... I disconnected the battery and let it re-learn the timing, it ran great for a few minutes i drove it down the road and opened it up. when i got to the gas station.. three miles away. It died as i was pulling into the parking lot. working the gas pedal while cranking it, i was able to get it running and drove it home, it runs great at speed, but when you come to a stop it dies. but no more code... still cant figure this thing out
