2000 Mitsubishi Galant vibrations

My galant has a vibration in the accelator pedal only @4000 rpm.I recently bought a timing belt kit and new motor mounts, about a day later I started to feel the vibration, can u tell me what u think the problen could be.

Hi keion,

If your engine is equipped with balancer shafts, the timng had most probably been set wrong.

If there is a lack of power, the timing belt is probably set wrong too.
