i took the gasket off and used a universal gasket solution to stick it down but this has not helped the car is really not feeling right it has a vibration in the steering. PLEASE HELP.

Hi could you please advise, I have just changed my spark plugs but did not do the gasket as there was nothing wrong with it, I am now having problems with a very strong fuel smell as well as a missing/stalling in the engine when trying to drive.
