What would/could cause the intake manifold to snap where it connects to the carburetor?Timing Belt?Motor Mount?

have replaced it once before but it snapped at the same exact place a month later

HI there,

thank you for the donation,

I have heard that there were a batch of engines with a problem with manifolds, something to do with a casting fault, not sure if this is indeed fact or fiction, nut there is no reason apart from possibly being over tightened I can think of that would cause this problem, I will see if I can find out any more info for you.

Hi there,
there will not be any other manifold that will suite, well not to my knowledge anyway, you will have to get one off an engine with the same code No 4G64
